Praising Pizza

A pizza's what my family
Eats every Friday night.
The finest dinner you could see,
It's such a scrumptious sight.

With crust that's crunchy, brown, and thick
And heaps of chewy cheese.
(No mushrooms, though; they make me sick.)
And pepperoni, please.

My mom gets peppers on her slice
And Dad those little fish.
But leave them off is my advice.
Why spoil this tasty dish?

I like a burger, shake, and fries,
And tacos taste just fine.
But nothing beats good pizza pies
When we go out to dine.

I savor each delicious bite.
If I could have my way,
We wouldn't wait till Friday night.
We'd eat them every day.
